Micro EDM is a subtractive process that removes material through a series of electrical discharges (sparks) between an electrode — typically a thin wire — and the workpiece. Each spark melts and vaporizes a microscopic amount of material, enabling extreme precision even in hard, conductive materials like titanium, Inconel, and tungsten.
