HR Assistant

High precision micro component company seeks a Human Resource Assistant to assist in daily hiring, onboarding, and benefit administration activities.  Successful candidate will be knowledgeable in human resource duties. Candidate will demonstrate the company core values, People, Integrity, and Excellence, in all aspects of their assigned duties and responsibilities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    1. Talent Acquisition: Create, post and manage job postings. Review, match and schedule interviews with job applicants. Prepare and conduct pre-employment certifications and documentation.
    2. Onboarding/Offboarding: Responsible for processing all new hire paperwork. Schedule and set up orientation training. Prepare required documents for separations, exit interviews and collect company assets upon exit.
    3. HR Operations/Compliance: Ensure applicable federal, state and local required postings are in place and up-to-date.  Support document process for safety training. Ensure confidentiality of employee records.
    4. Benefits: Monitor the new employment benefit enrollment and discontinuation process.

      

  • Employee will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be a self-starter and be able to work under limited supervision.
  • Knowledge of HR practices, benefit administration, and compliance.
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills in a MS environment. Familiar with database management and record keeping.
  • High level of interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse personalities.
  • Adhere to highest standards of ethics, integrity, professionalism, sensitivity, and confidentiality.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field or equivalent experience.
